Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a Caregiver for its Waverly Inn Resident Services Department. This part-time role offers 10PM–6AM shifts on Wednesdays, Fridays and alternating weekends. A CNA certification program is paid by the employer, with benefits for full-time and select benefits for part-time staff.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide compassionate care, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment while supporting residents' independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• Must be able to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times; observe residents for changes and report to a licensed nurse
• Perform other duties as assigned
