The Gardens at Laguna Springs in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and contribute to a safe, welcoming living environment.

This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with pay between $19 and $20 per hour, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and more, as well as growth opportunities and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care assistance and support to residents.
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening on hire.
• CPR/First-Aid certification as needed per policy and state rules.
• Pass a criminal background check as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engage residents in conversation, social activities, and meaningful interaction.
• Respond promptly to care needs and obtain assistance as necessary.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe changes in residents and report to a licensed nurse when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Caregiver to join our Resident Services Department at The Gardens at Laguna Springs!

Full-time and Part-time opportunities!

Earn between $19 and $20/hour, dependent on experience!

Multiple Shifts! PT AM; FT/PT PM.

Who you are:

You pride yourself in providing exceptional hospitality and personal assistance. This role delivers in a safe and efficient manner the highest quality individualized assistance program to all residents.

What you’ll do:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be drug-freeand submit to drug screening upon hire
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
