Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC is looking for a compassionate CNA to support residents with daily living activities, under nurse supervision. You will provide personal care, assist with meals, and maintain care documentation in an electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• CNA certification/registration is required.
• High-school diploma preferred, but not required.
• One year of nursing/resident care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Knowledge of the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn EHR systems.
• Compassion for hospitality, service and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The CNA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way

Qualifications:

• Certification/current registration as a nursing assistant (CNA)
• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
