Job summary

HighPointe Assisted Living & Memory Care in Denver is seeking a PRN caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming and bathing, and to maintain their personal environment.

You will also transport residents to activities, respond to calls and safety concerns, and help review care plans while monitoring vital signs, in a calm, respectful and supportive manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• All state educational requirements must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, personal environment).
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.

Schedule: PRN, at least one shift every two weeks.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.

• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.

• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
