Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring for a part-time role in Illinois. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, help transport them within the community, and respond to emergencies and requests promptly. You will also review care plans and monitor vital signs as needed.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma and meeting state education requirements; CPR is preferred, with prior experience caring for the elderly and a calm, respectful demeanor highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming and bathing.

• Respond to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.

• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences and skills.

• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
