Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Part Time Resident Assistant in Memory Care at our Cary, IL community. You will assist residents with daily living tasks, transport within the community, and respond to calls and safety concerns.

Requirements include a High School diploma and state requirements; CPR certification is preferred; experience with elderly residents is a plus. We offer a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in daily living activities such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.

Schedule: Part Time

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
