Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a full-time Overnight Care Associate to support residents with daily living activities and maintain their well-being on site. You will help with grooming, bathing, and keeping the resident environment safe and comfortable.

The role includes transporting residents to activities and dining, responding to emergencies, and reviewing care plans while monitoring vital signs. CPR is preferred and a calm, respectful demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, environment).
• Transport residents within the community to activities, departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.

Schedule:Full-Time. Overnight.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• - Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment
• - Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• - Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
• - Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans, as well as obtaining vital signs

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• - High School diploma or equivalent is required
• - All state educational requirements for the position must be met
• - CPR certification preferred
• - Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
• - A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
