Job summary

Park Vista Senior Housing Management, LLC is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants for The Legacy of Deforest. The role supports residents with daily cares, meals, mobility, and safety in a compassionate community setting.

Both Part-Time and Full-Time shifts are available, with base wage starting at $19.00 per hour and additional shift differentials for PM, NOC, and weekends. Benefits include PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and a 401k after one year.

Qualifications

• Resident Assistant roles require compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to document care and follow plans of care (ISP).

Responsibilities

• Perform and document resident cares and services per ISP (Plan of Care).
• Report changes of condition to DON.
• Respond to emergency calls and take appropriate action.
• Facilitate weekend/evening activities.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding during mealtimes.
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties.
• Fill in for open shifts when needed.
• Monitor vital signs per ISP and current training.
• Answer resident calls/alarms and manage medication reminders per plan.

JOB TITLE: Resident Assistant

WORKER CATEGORY: Part-Time and Full-Time available on all shifts

RESIDENT ASSISTANT BASE WAGE: Up to $21.50 per hour

• Base Wage starting at $19.00 per hour
• PM Shift Differential $1.00 / hour
• NOC Shift Differential $0.50 / hour
• Weekend Shift Differential $1.50 / hour

RESIDENT ASSISTANT ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resident Assistant will perform and document resident cares and services according to ISP (Plan of Care) per policies
• Report changes of conditions and variations of resident care to DON (Director of Nursing)
• Resident Assistant should respond promptly to all emergency response calls and take appropriate action
• Facilitate activities on the weekends and in the evenings as required
• Serve meals/feed residents during mealtimes as required
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties as necessary
• Fill in for open shifts as necessary
• Resident Assistant will perform and document vital sign monitoring per ISP (Plan of Care)
• Answer and respond to all resident calls/alarms
• Resident Assistant will perform and document medication reminders or management per resident ISP (Plan of Care) and current training and delegations (Oral, Nasal, Topical, Transdermal, Ophthalmic, Vaginal, Rectal, Subcutaneous, etc.)
