Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg invites applications for a full-time Resident Assistant in our Assisted Living Department. This PM shift includes every other weekend rotation and the opportunity to support residents’ physical and emotional well-being toward greater independence.

The RA will assist with activities of daily living, perform safety checks, document in residents’ records, and communicate with the management team. Prior caregiving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Provides minimal to moderate assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living such as bed making and laundry.
• Provides minimal assistance with incontinence care.
• Performs safety checks.
• Recognizes and responds to changes in residents' behavior, cognitive and physical functioning and level of participation and interaction with others.
• Communicates both verbal and written information objectively and timely to management team.
• Documents clearly and legibly in residents' records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for Resident Assistants in our Assisted Living Department. FT PM shift with every other weekend rotation.
