Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with activities of daily living under nurse supervision. You will deliver compassionate personal care, assist with dining, and document health status while working as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include charting, homemaking tasks, and collaborating with colleagues to uphold The Waters Way and ensure high-quality senior care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or current registration is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• One year nursing/resident care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Knowledge of the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA role.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic health record systems.

The Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The CNA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way

Qualifications:

• Certification/current registration as a nursing assistant (CNA)
• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English
• Knowledgeable about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA
