HIT Inc. invites applications for a Resident Assistant at Dakota Pointe in Mandan, ND. The role supports residents to live independently and safely, delivering compassionate care and building meaningful relationships.

The position offers full-time hours and a structured schedule. The successful candidate will follow care plans, maintain safety and confidentiality, and collaborate with nursing staff to monitor residents’ health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Nurse Aide certification, if required by assignment.
• Medication Assistant 1 certification, if required by assignment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record if operating agency vehicles.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, mobility, personal care).
• Support residents with medications, exercise, and wellness routines as trained.
• Encourage independence and dignity while providing person-centered care.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and keeping a clean, welcoming home.
• Accompany residents on outings, appointments, shopping trips, and recreational activities.
• Observe and report changes in health or behavior to nursing staff.
• Complete documentation accurately and follow safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines.
