Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Part-Time Resident Assistant in Assisted Living to help residents with daily living activities, transport them to activities and meals, and respond to calls and environmental hazards. The role also requires following care plans and monitoring vital signs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, meet state education requirements, CPR certification is preferred, and experience with the elderly. A calm, respectful demeanor is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsabilités

• Providing residents with assistance in activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, maintaining personal environment).
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans, and obtaining vital signs.

Schedule: Part-Time. 7am-7pm, every other weekend required.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans, as well as obtaining vital signs

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:
