Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Resident Assistant (RA) for part-time morning shifts in Minnesota. The RA provides direct daily living support to tenants, under licensed supervision, aligned with the Service Plan and Nursing Assistant standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare industry; experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tenants with direct routine care in activities of daily living.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed nurse or AL Clinical Manager.
• Follow the Service Plan and MDH Nursing Assistant Program standards.
• Support tenants' independence and autonomy, including cognitive support as needed.

Resident Assistant (RA)

Part-Time AM Shifts

On-Call for all shifts;

• 6:00am-2:00pm
• 2:00pm-10:00pm
• 6:00am-6:00pm
• 10:00am-6:00pm

Position Summary:

The Resident Assistant (RA) is responsible for providing tenants with the highest quality of direct routine care in all activities of daily living, under the supervision of the licensed nurse or AL Clinical Manager and in accordance with the Service Plan, MDH Nursing Assistant Program standards, the Tenant’s Bill of Rights and the campus Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. According to the Service Plan for the tenant, RAs apply skills in basic nursing, personal care and basic restorative services while understanding the mental health and social service needs of the tenant and being mindful of the needs in cognitively impaired tenants. The RA is part of the interdisciplinary care team that is dedicated to promoting independence, autonomous decision-making and facilitating tenants to achieve and maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
