Job summary

AMDA College of the Performing Arts seeks responsible, engaged Resident Advisors (RAs) for Fall 2026 to support residential students and foster a safe, inclusive, and connected campus community within AMDA housing.

RAs gain hands-on leadership experience in student affairs, crisis response, community building, and residential life operations while residing in campus housing for the term and fulfilling duties, trainings, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled AMDA student for Fall 2026 and completed at least one semester.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and good academic/disciplinary standing.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and member of the AMDA community.
• Build relationships with residential students and maintain an approachable presence.
• Support student engagement, community safety, and housing operations.
• Assist with move-in/move-out and Orientation activities.
• Complete incident reports and required administrative documentation.
• Participate in RA training and staff meetings.
• Abide by AMDA Code of Conduct and applicable laws.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
