Job summary

Talbert House in Wilmington, OH is seeking a part-time Transitional Support Services worker for a 32-hour monthly schedule, Saturday shifts 7:30am–3:30pm. You will help maintain a safe, secure residential setting for clients and staff, ensuring program protocols are followed and client needs are met.

Responsibilities include monitoring activities, conducting rounds, assisting clients, documenting using the designated software, responding to emergencies, and transporting clients as needed.

• Perform routine non-clinical intake duties as required.
• Recognize behavior changes and monitor client movement.
• Operate vehicle to transport clients as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Job Requirements:

• High School Graduate or high school equivalency
• 0-2 years of experience

Essential Functions/Physical Demands:

• Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Frequent standing and walking. Occasional sitting.
• Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.
• May require ability to walk up to 4 flights of stairs consecutively, depending on location.
• Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking/communicating.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer.
