Job summary

Terrace of Saint Cloud is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in planning, organizing, developing and implementing activity programs that promote residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Associates/Bachelor in activity or social work preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing activity programs.
• Coordinate activities with Nursing, Dietary, Housekeeping and others.
• Transport residents to activity areas as needed and document responses.
• Maintain activity calendars and prepare materials for sessions.
• Provide 1:1 activities as appropriate and record resident engagement.
• Ensure safety and follow procedures during activities.
