Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to facilitate group and individual activities based on residents’ needs.
• Strong interaction and communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing program for group and individual activities based on residents’ needs, interest, and abilities.
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Assist in creating the activity calendar.
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
• Encourage participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings
