Aviata at University Hills is seeking an Activities Assistant to implement the established activity plan and support a resident- and family-centered culture. The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and creative programming to engage residents in everyday recreation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and an active Florida CNA license, with preference for experience in healthcare recreation and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Active CNA license with the State of Florida.
• Experience in providing recreation services to residents in a health care setting preferred.
• Must have a current unencumbered valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, assessments, and activity profiles.
• Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in recreational social activities and organize events.
• Assist Community Life Director in expanding services.
