Royal Health Group in Mashpee, MA is seeking an Activities Assistant to support resident-centered programs across long-term, sub-acute, and memory care settings.

You will collaborate with the Activities Director to plan and implement engaging activities, monitor participation, and help develop monthly calendars, while maintaining confidentiality and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia patients is a plus.
• Strong communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director in enhancing residents' intellectual, emotional and spiritual interests with individual or group activities.
• Help plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate activity programs.
• Contribute to developing the monthly program calendar.
• Assist in writing the plan of care for each resident's activity program.
• Participate in discharge planning and activity care plan development and resident assessments.
• Follow activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director.
• Schedule programs, plan parties, and provide games/activities for residents.
• Encourage participation in activities of daily living to support residents' potential.
• All other duties as assigned.
