Aviata at Jacksonville is looking for an Activities Assistant to implement the established plan for resident activities and recreation. You will support planning, scheduling, and facilitating social and recreational events for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must hold an active Florida CNA license.
• Some experience in providing recreation services to residents is preferred.
• Must possess a current unencumbered valid Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, assessments, and activity profiles.
• Assist in scheduling movies, parties, and activities for residents.
• Encourage participation in recreational activities and organize events.
• Assist Community Life Director in expanding services.
• Contribute to innovative ideas to improve systems and processes.
