Job summary

Arbors at Minerva in Ohio is seeking an Activities Aide - Part Time to support resident engagement through individual and group activities, companionship, and recreational programming.

You will help plan monthly calendars, assist with decorating for events, document participation in the medical record, and collaborate with the care team to promote comfort and well‑being for residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assists the resident activity director as needed.
• Provides comfort and stimulation through activity environments.
• Fosters community within the center.
• Leads and participates in individual and group activities.
• Plans and uses various programming models (pet/music/art therapy).
• Assists with decorating for events and seasonal parties.
• Develops and posts monthly calendars for residents and families.
• Participates in recreational programs for residents in rooms.
• Promotes volunteer involvement in the community.
• Maintains activity records and supplies, cleans area afterward.
• Supports resident well-being using a biopsychosocial approach.
• Provides or arranges comfort/support to residents and families as needed.
