Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation or related field.

• Associate’s Degree- two years full time experience with related work or life experience.
• Basic understanding of working with adults with a serious mental illness.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, engage and support adult consumers in a residential setting (transitional, crisis, and/or supported housing).
• Provide direct care, assisting clients with activities of daily living, as needed using direction, modeling, and prompting.
• Provide education (appropriate to client), prompting and support to client and/or family designed to resolve crisis, and decrease barriers for more independent living.
• Assist in developing and facilitating service planning to promote further independence and community integration.

Education

High School Graduates with additional specific experience

High School Diploma – four (4) years full time experience with related work or life experience

Associate’s Degree- two (2) years full time experience with related work or life experience

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
