Pennhills Resources, LLC is seeking a Development Engineer – Reservoir & Production in State College, PA. The role combines reservoir analysis, economic evaluation, data analysis, and field operations to maximize asset value.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience, a strong engineering background, and hands-on field experience. Hybrid/remote flexibility applies based on business needs, with about 85% office and 15% field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in petroleum engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience.
• Strong reservoir engineering fundamentals: DCA, forecasts, reserves, EUR.
• Experience evaluating development, drilling, recompletion, or workover opportunities.
• Exposure to production operations and field optimization.
• Proficient Excel, analytics, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assets to identify drilling, recompletion, workover and development opportunities.
• Perform decline curve analysis, production forecasting, EUR estimation, reserves, type curves.
• Develop multi-year development plans and rank opportunities by ROI and risk.
• Coordinate with geology, land, drilling, and operations to mature prospects.
• Develop cost-effective reservoir monitoring and data analysis programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain budgets and forecasts.
