Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Reservoir Engineering advisor to join a major oil and gas team in the Houston area, focusing on CCS projects. The role requires strong reservoir engineering fundamentals, experience with INTERSECT/ECLIPSE, and ability to guide technical teams.

You will mentor engineers, develop depletion and simulation plans, and provide input to cross-functional groups. The position emphasizes high technical standards and collaboration across asset teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated work experience in reservoir engineering in oil & gas.
• Experience with reservoir simulation and PVT/SCAL studies.
• Proficiency with INTERSECT/ECLIPSE simulators and dynamic modeling.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to support Reservoir Leadership Team to achieve performance objectives.
• Mentor less experienced reservoir engineers in simulations and analyses.
• Develop plans and programs for Reservoir Management.
• Lead and participate in peer reviews to uphold technical standards.
• Collaborate with drilling, facilities, and other groups as required.
