Ascent Resources is seeking an experienced Reservoir Engineer based in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves assessing oil and gas deposits, estimating reservoir size, and determining reserves. You will run models, perform calculations, and support business and development planning to add value to the company.

Responsibilities include engineering evaluations, quarterly reserves reporting per SPEE/SEC, and leading A&D asset evaluations while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years related work experience; 3+ years reservoir engineering experience preferred.
• Master’s degree or PE License (preferred).
• Proficient in reservoir engineering with knowledge of operations, marketing, land, and geology.
• Experience with SPEE and SEC reserve reporting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist asset teams in efficient and timely development of inventory.
• Conduct technical evaluations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Complete quarterly reserves evaluation for the asset in accordance with SPEE and SEC requirements.
• Perform and lead asset evaluations for A&D opportunities.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
