Job summary

The Energy People Group is seeking a highly motivated Reserves Engineer based in Midland, TX, to support the company’s Planning & Reserves function. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience in the Permian Basin.

This role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of economic modeling and forecasting. Responsibilities include maintaining databases, preparing reserve forecasts, and improving planning processes.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of industry experience, preferably within the Permian Basin.
• Experience with reserve forecasting and bookings, decline curve analysis.
• Familiarity with SEC reserve reporting processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the company’s reserves and planning databases.
• Prepare and maintain reserve forecasts and corporate production forecasts.
• Support annual budgeting and long-range planning across the asset base.
