Job summary

Hyatt Regency Seattle is seeking an Area Reservations Manager to lead the Reservations function and drive revenue performance for multiple Hyatt properties in the Seattle area.

You will oversee group reservations, coordinate with Revenue Management and Events, and train Reservations staff to ensure a seamless guest experience and optimal occupancy.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years Hotel Reservations experience preferred
  • Must have extensive experience with forecasting and revenue management
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge and hospitality systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Reservations function and support Revenue performance by controlling room inventory and distribution strategy.
  • Coordinate the Group reservations and Sales process, monitor group pickup and partner with Revenue Management and Events to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Oversee Reservations standards, system accuracy, and the training and development of Reservations colleagues and all related Reservation responsibilities to deliver a responsive, reliable guest experience.

The Area Reservations Manager leads the Reservations function and supports Revenue performance by controlling room inventory and distribution strategy for the Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt Regency Seattle, and Hyatt at Olive 8. This hands-on leader coordinates the Group reservations and Sales process, monitors group pickup and partners with Revenue Management and Events to maximize occupancy and revenue. The role also oversees Reservations standards, system accuracy, and the training and development of Reservations colleagues and all related Reservation responsibilities to deliver a responsive, reliable guest experience.

The salary range for this position is $80,169 to $103,300. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications, and education.
