Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in New Mexico, or eligibility for admission.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills; ability to translate research into persuasive drafts.
• Experience drafting motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Personal injury or civil litigation experience preferred; insurance defense or appellate background is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with trial attorneys and Team Leads across multiple case teams and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research New Mexico liability, damages, and procedures for personal injury cases.
• Draft motions, briefs, and memoranda for pre-litigation and litigation teams.
• Support settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial prep with researched memos.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys and Team Leads to strengthen case positions.
• Deliver timely, well-supported writing that meets firm standards.
