Job summary

The Zhang Lab at Binghamton University, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, seeks a Research Technician to support translational pharmacology research, including molecular biology techniques and animal handling. Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field with general laboratory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to perform general laboratory techniques with precision and reliability.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory procedures, including general molecular and cellular biology techniques, cell-based assays, bioanalytical methods, and laboratory animal handling.
• Assist with laboratory safety, equipment maintenance, and ordering.
