Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Research Technician to support the Lin Lab in studying endothelial cells related to pulmonary vasculopathies.

You will assist with experiments, data collection and laboratory maintenance in a biosafety-conscious setting. The role involves immunohistochemistry, tissue culture of endothelial and fibroblast lines, data entry and adherence to safety and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: No specific certification required.
• Work Experience: No specific work experience required.
• Driver's License: A driver's license is not required.

Responsabilités

• Assists the investigator or higher-level technician with research studies, experiments and assays, including data collection, preparation of solutions and setup and maintenance of equipment.
• Assists with immunohistochemistry.
• Assists with tissue cultures of primary endothelial and fibroblast cell lines.
• Maintains files on research and assists with data entry.
• Assists with general lab maintenance and cleaning.
• Complies with safety procedures and maintains documentation on laboratory and specimen conditions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
