Join the Ganesh Lab as a Research Technician!

You will have a chance to contribute directly to identifying vulnerabilities in metastatic colorectal cancer. Through close collaboration with clinicians, the lab’s findings guide new approaches to overcome therapy resistance and improve outcomes for patients facing metastatic cancer.

Role Overview
  • Laboratory Support: Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, assays, and other essential supplies.
  • Techniques & Assays: Perform specialized techniques, such as organoid generation and long-term culture, cell-based assays, PCR, Western Blots, ELISA etc.
  • Animal Handling: Conduct animal studies, including injections, tissue/fluids collection, and animal autopsies to facilitate downstream analyses.
  • Data Management: Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team.
  • Collaboration: Assist peers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team-oriented, supportive environment.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or life sciences.
  • Experience with organoid generation, long-term culture, PCR, Western blot and/or ELISA.
  • Comfort working directly with animal models is required for this role.

Pay Range: $26.21 - $39.24 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
