Job summary

The Ahmad lab in the Department of Cell Biology at the University of Oklahoma is seeking a motivated Research Technician to support projects on neuromodulator receptor trafficking. You will assist with cell culture, molecular biology, and imaging experiments, with occasional laboratory animal handling.

A Bachelor’s Degree in a biological or health-related field is required, or 48 months of equivalent experience.

The successful candidate will provide critical assistance in cell culture work, molecular biology work, and imaging experiments. Some laboratory animal handling may also be involved. Previous experience in molecular biology or cell culture work is desirable but not required.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, or other health related field.

Equivalency/Substitution

Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree.
