Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a research software engineer to design and develop automated analyses for provably secure blockchain applications. You will work with language theory, automated reasoning, and tools that incorporate symbolic model checking and SAT/SMT solving to verify contracts.

You will join a multinational team, tackle hard problems, and contribute from idea to implementation while learning and growing in a collaborative startup environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in computer science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Extend the scope and depth of automated verification tools.
• Adapt algorithms for symbolic software model checking (BMC, CEGAR, IC3/PDR).
• Build translators from input languages to intermediate representations.
• Identify new security properties for smart contracts.
• Collaborate with engineers to set technical direction.
• Deliver working software with CI/CD and customer feedback.
