Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurology (ADRC) seeks a qualified Social Worker - MSW to support research social work activities, cognitive and functional assessments for ADRC and related clinical trials. The role includes conducting psychosocial and/or cognitive assessments, coordinating recruitment, and mentoring social work students.

Education required is a Master’s degree in Social Work, with MSW + LSW licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• MSW with LSW licensure required.
• Experience in research social work and cognitive/functional assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial and neuropsychological assessments of patients and families.
• Develop materials and referrals for research registry eligibility and program materials.
• Conduct crisis intervention counseling and provide education on ADRC brain donation program.
