Job Title: Clinical Research Services Entry Professional-Functional and Reconstructive Urology (FRU)

Position #: 00834499 – Requisition #: 40509

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Services Professional to join the Clinical Research Office and the Division of Urology within the Department of Surgery. This individual will collaborate closely with Dr. Brian J. Flynn on innovative research focused on Functional and Reconstructive Urology. The role offers opportunities to contribute to a broad spectrum of complex clinical studies and gain advanced research experience in a department known for state-of-the-art facilities and interdisciplinary collaboration. The position includes mentorship from leading experts and access to professional development resources. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with and oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical trials and studies
  • Obtain study subject\'s medical history and current medication information, review protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria, and confirm eligibility of subjects to participate in clinical trials
  • Perform informed consent process or ensure that it has occurred, is properly documented, and that consent forms are filed as required
  • Interview prospective subjects for research clinical trials; educate potential subjects on study details via phone and personal interviews
  • Schedule subject participation in research clinical trials, coordinating space and clinical research support (e.g., physician, nurse practitioner, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy)
  • Collect, code, and analyze data obtained from research in an accurate and timely manner
  • Adhere to research regulatory standards
  • Maintain detailed records of studies to ensure compliance with FDA requirements, study protocols, and department/hospital standard operating procedures
  • Participate in subject recruitment efforts, including pre-screening/screening activities
  • Ensure necessary supplies and equipment for studies are in stock and in working order

This position will require occasional after-hours and weekend work.

Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field

A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor\'s degree on a year-for-year basis.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in science or health-related field
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g., EMR or EHR and data management systems)

Anticipated Pay Range

The starting salary range for this position has been established as: $49,899 to $66,865. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
