As a Research Scientist in Wearables AI, you will have the opportunity to perform ground-breaking research to advance the device-driven AI Assistant effort at Meta – e.g. Ray-Ban Meta AI Glasses and future Wearable devices. You will build state-of-the-art LLMs to support on-device and on-server use cases, optimize for natural voice interaction, deliver knowledge-grounded, actionable, personalized AI through a unique voice user interface. You will collaborate closely with Meta SuperIntelligence Labs (Meta SuperIntelligence Labs) to produce state-of-the-art research and results.Research Scientist, Wearables AI Responsibilities:Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build speech/LLM technology that will improve Meta Wearables products and experiencesDevelop novel, accurate AI algorithms and advanced systems for large scale applicationsDirectly contribute to experiments, including designing experimental details, developing reusable code, running evaluations, and organizing resultsWork with large data and contribute to development of large scale foundation modelsDesign methods, tools, and infrastructure to push forward the state of the art in large language modelsMinimum Qualifications:Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
