Appointments at I, II, or III depend on postdoctoral experience; start date varies with funding; primarily in Fort Collins, CO. This is a full‑time, in‑person role requiring compliance and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry, biology, or closely related field.
• Normally less than three years postdoctoral experience for Scholar I; at least three years for Scholar II; at least seven years for Scholar III.
• Proven ability to conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research; strong data analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct independent and collaborative research programs aligned with the School's mission.
• Design, execute, analyze, and interpret research studies and experiments.
• Prepare and publish scholarly manuscripts and technical reports; develop proposals for funding; mentor students and staff.
• Collaborate with investigators and external partners on sponsored and non-sponsored research.
• Contribute to growth of the School's research enterprise through innovation and scholarly engagement.
