Job summary

Meta Reality Labs Research is seeking exceptional Intern Researchers to contribute to 3D-grounded generalist models for robotics. Internships span 12–24 weeks with various start dates throughout the year, and some projects may require a 24-week continuous commitment.

You will plan and execute cutting-edge research, develop experiments and data pipelines, and validate policies in both simulation and on real robots. This role offers opportunities for publication and live demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Candidate is pursuing or has completed a PhD in a relevant field such as computer vision, robotics or ML.
• Hands-on experience with robotics policy training and large 3D data pipelines.
• Experience implementing large foundation models and generative architectures.
• Strong programming with Python and PyTorch; collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute cutting-edge research to advance robotics policies and 3D model foundations.
• Collaborate across Meta robotics teams to develop experiments, prototypes, and evaluations.
• Design and run practical experiments validating policies in simulation and on real robots.
