Responsibilities

• Document results clearly for the principal investigator.
• Supervise staff and oversee task execution.
• May submit training grants as PI with mentor guidance.
• May publish and present research as author or co-author.
• May lead or train research staff and postdocs.
• Design, develop, and maintain lab equipment for experiments.
• May submit grants for equipment or core enhancements as PI.
• Review scientific literature and maintain internal controls.
• Complete required high containment training.
• Present data at scientific meetings or grant reviews.
• Assist PI with international research tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
