The Infinity Fellowship in the San Francisco Bay Area invites you to join the inaugural cohort and spend a year advancing a frontier AI system designed for original discovery. Fellows select the hardest problems, shepherd them from formulation to validated results, and publish as lead author with inventorship on filed patents.

The terms are a full-time salaried appointment, hybrid in the SF East Bay with relocation support and visa sponsorship for international Fellows.

We are a frontier artificial-intelligence laboratory, still in stealth, established for a single purpose: to build an AI capable of original discovery — a system that does not merely retrieve and recombine what is already known, but reasons toward genuinely new understanding of the problems put to it. We hold that an instrument able to truly discover is among the most consequential technologies humanity will ever build, and we are building it.

Our system has already produced results beyond the reach of any human team. We have demonstrated its power on a small number of problems. The purpose of this fellowship is to establish how far that power extends.

This is an invitation to join the inaugural cohort of the Infinity Fellowship, and to spend a year aiming this instrument at the hardest unsolved problems in your field.

You choose the problems — the ones shelved because they demanded a decade. You carry each from formulation to validated result. You publish as lead author, and you are named as an inventor on the patents we file. The bar is a result substantial enough to found a company on.

The terms are plain: a full-time salaried appointment of roughly one year, hybrid in the San Francisco East Bay, with relocation support and visa sponsorship for international Fellows. It pays like a strong postdoc. No background in AI is required; we weigh the ability to learn above experience with any method. Top-performing Fellows will be offered permanent research positions.

For US Remote/Hybrid: This position requires access to export controlled information. To conform to U.S. export control regulations applicable to that information, applicant must either be (A) a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or (B) eligible to access the export controlled information without a required export authorization, or (C) eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the required export authorization from the applicable U.S. government agency. The Company may, for legitimate business reasons, decline to pursue any export licensing process.

For International Remote: This position requires access to export controlled information. To conform to applicable export control regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be eligible to access the export controlled information without a required export authorization.
