Synthires is seeking research scientists in computer science and computational physics to contribute to high-impact work advancing next‑generation AI systems. You’ll apply your expertise to investigate challenging problems, evaluate AI‑generated findings, and explore proofs, algorithms, and simulations.

No prior AI experience is required. Your research excellence, computational rigor, and problem‑solving abilities are what matter most for success in this remote role at Synthires.

Formación

• Strong computational rigor and complex research problem-solving abilities.
• Expertise in computer science, mathematical physics, computational physics, or a closely related field.
• Ability to critically evaluate research findings and verify technical results.
• Strong analytical reasoning and scientific communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and propose open problems, new theoretical bounds, and tractable research challenges within your field.
• Conduct structured research using advanced AI models and agents to explore proofs, develop algorithms, and run computational simulations.
• Verify research outputs by checking proofs, reproducing numerical results, and applying formal verification tools.
• Evaluate findings for novelty and correctness by comparing them with recent literature and published results.
• Document methodologies, partial results, and research challenges through clear, detailed written reports.
• Identify promising discoveries and new research directions for further investigation by senior research professionals.
