Job summary

Meta is seeking a Research Scientist to advance computer vision and AI research, translating insights into scalable capabilities powering Meta's products from augmented and virtual reality to large-scale content understanding systems.

You will design and conduct original research in CV, train deep learning models on large video/image datasets, and evaluate novel algorithms while collaborating with engineers to productionize prototypes and publish results at top venues.

Qualifications

• PhD in computer vision, ML, CS or related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of research in computer vision, including 3D reconstruction, SLAM or related areas.
• Experience building and training deep learning models with PyTorch and large datasets.
• Ability to communicate research findings through publications or talks.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct original CV/AI research (3D reconstruction, scene understanding, generative modeling).
• Develop and train deep learning models on large-scale image/video datasets.
• Benchmark algorithms against state-of-the-art methods and publish results.
