OpenAI, Inc. is seeking a Researcher to lead Search Integrity within the Foundations team. You will define technical approaches, build classifiers and evaluations, and guide how integrity signals influence indexing and retrieval.

You will work closely with Search, Safety and Integrity teams to advance detection methods and bring them into production. The role requires deep experience in web spam or search quality, strong applied ML skills, and the ability to navigate multi-team collaboration

Qualificações

• Deep experience in web spam or search quality and integrity at scale.
• Strong applied ML and research skills for classifiers and evaluations.
• Understanding of adversaries manipulating content and links.
• Track record of defining technical problems and driving solutions.
• Experience working with researchers, engineers, and integrity teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define technical direction for Search Integrity and prioritize problems.
• Develop AI/ML systems to detect spam, scams, phishing, and malicious domains.
• Discover signals across content, links, domains, metadata, and site relationships.
• Build evaluations to measure detection quality and impact on search surfaces.
• Translate signals into indexing, ranking, and filtering decisions.
• Serve as technical owner for integrity within Search across teams.
