Job summary

TTN Talent in San Francisco, CA is seeking researchers with hands-on frontier AI experience across LLMs and RL to own end-to-end research efforts. The role focuses on ambitious experiments, developing models, and deploying them within agentic systems.

Ideal candidates have PhDs or equivalent research experience, with a track record of practical impact in AI labs or industry research, and a passion for shaping the research agenda.

Qualifications

• Hands-on frontier AI research experience across LLMs, reinforcement learning, post-training or agentic systems.
• Experience running large-scale experiments, training models and improving model behaviour, not just publishing research.
• Experience owning research end to end, from hypothesis and data through to training, evaluation and deployment.
• Experience in RL, continual learning, representation learning or multimodal agents.
• Fresh PhD with strong research/internship experience, or experienced Research Engineer/Scientist from a leading AI lab.

Responsibilities

• Own ambitious research bets end to end and shape the research agenda and underlying models powering long-horizon agent capabilities.
• Collaborate with teams to translate research insights into deployed agentic systems.
• Lead experiments and evaluation to drive improvements in model behaviour and capabilities.
