Job summary

The University of Miami invites applications for a part-time Research Professor in the Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery.

The role will help develop the department’s non-invasive testing service and will serve as Director of the Dermatology Skin Testing Lab. The candidate should have research experience in inflammatory and immuno-infectious dermatology, and clinical studies experience on topical products’ safety and efficacy using non-invasive methods.

Qualifications

• Requires research experience in Inflammatory and Immuno-Infectious Dermatology.
• Experience with clinical studies on safety/efficacy of topical products using non-invasive methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the Department’s non-invasive testing service.
• Serve as Director of the Dermatology Skin Testing Lab.
• Submit grants to support research efforts and transfer eligible grants to cover expenses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams; teach and communicate effectively.
