Job summary

The University of Chicago's Development Innovation Lab, in partnership with the Becker Friedman Institute, seeks multiple full-time Research Professionals to work with Professor Michael Kremer. You will engage in data collection, data cleaning, statistical analyses, simulations, and manuscript preparation for development economics research.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and up to two years of related experience, with strong quantitative training and interest in research in developing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through less than 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Responsibilities

• Under limited direction, performs complex lab and/or research-related duties and tasks.
• Supports data collection, trains staff, and monitors data quality.
• Supports analysis needs, collects and analyzes data, and maintains project databases.
• Conducts literature reviews and helps write reports and manuscripts.
• Supports experimental design and implementation under PI direction.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Presents findings at meetings and conferences.
• Maintains technical and administrative support for a project.
• Performs other related work as needed.
