Job summary

University of Miami seeks a Manager, Research Support to facilitate research operations and ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance. The role provides mentorship to junior staff, oversees protocol management, and coordinates with the PI and external partners to advance study milestones.

Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, manuscript preparation, and continuous education to stay current with NIH and university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Regulatory compliance and protocol management experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to basic and applied research activities by collecting and analyzing data and maintaining databases.
• Ensures research is conducted per best practices and protocols.
• Mentors junior staff and students, and coordinates meetings with stakeholders.
• Oversees regulatory documentation, IRB submissions, and protocol updates.
• Supports manuscript development and reporting for the PI and team.
• Maintains training records and ensures NIH/UM compliance.
