The UCLA Center for Cannabis and Cannabinoids at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking a full-time Research Nurse to support innovative clinical research examining the therapeutic and adverse effects of cannabinoids and other substance in both health volunteers and patient populations.
Working closely with physician, psychologists, and research staff, you will play a key role in all phases of clinical research. Key responsibilities include:
Salary range: $70.59/hr - $106.80/hr
Required:
Current CA RN License
BSN Degree
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of clinical research experience
Experience with phlebotomy, IV placement, EKGs, and clinical assessments
Ability to discuss sensitive topics, including substance use and other high-risk behaviors
Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
Ability to work occasional evenings as required by study protocols
Preferred:
ACLS certification
Experience working with substance use populations or behavioral health research
Experience with research databases, regulatory documentation, and FDA-regulated studies
