The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The Research Nurse will coordinate and manage clinical research studies for the Pediatric Heart Network and other funded grants for the adult congenital and pediatric cardiology research teams.
The Pediatric Heart Network (PHN) is a group of hospitals across the United States, Canada and other countries that conduct research in children with congenital heart disease (CHD) or pediatric acquired heart disease and adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD). The Pediatric Heart Network New York Consortium (PHN-NYC) includes investigators at both Columbia University and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
The position requires a motivated and independent individual with excellent interpersonal skills and strong organizational qualities who can interact with patients, family members, physicians, and researchers.
