Abaka AI is hiring a Research Marketing Associate to connect research and technical work with audiences. You will turn papers, project updates, and ideas into clear posts, coordinating reviews and approvals, and publishing timely announcements for conferences like NeurIPS.
You’ll track industry chatter on LinkedIn and X, monitor data needs across AI research, and stay curious about AI developments while learning to accurately represent technical work.
Abaka AI is built on one mission: to be the world’s most trusted data partner for AI companies. More than 1,000 industry leaders across Generative AI, Embodied AI, and Automotive AI rely on us to power their data pipelines. With our headquarters in Silicon Valley and teams in Paris, Singapore, and Tokyo, we support global partners with fast, reliable, and scalable data solutions.
Our offerings include a diverse catalog of off-the-shelf datasets spanning image, video, multimodal, reasoning, 3D, and more, as well as comprehensive data collection and annotation services. Whether teams need raw data, curated datasets, or full-cycle data engineering, Abaka AI provides the foundation for building high-performance AI systems.
We’re hiring a Research Marketing Associate to help connect Abaka AI’s research and technical work with the audiences who care about it. You’ll work closely with our research and marketing teams to turn papers, project updates, and technical ideas into clear, accurate, and engaging content.
A major part of the role is keeping our research communications moving: reviewing posts with researchers, coordinating edits and approvals, and helping publish timely announcements when work is accepted at conferences such as NeurIPS. You’ll also track what other companies are building, what topics are gaining attention on LinkedIn and X, and what new data needs are emerging across AI research.
This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys social media, writes well, pays close attention to details, and is curious about AI. You don’t need to be a researcher, but you should be comfortable asking technical teammates questions and learning enough to represent their work accurately.
The base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $110,000 USD annually. Compensation may vary outside this range based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
Base salary is one part of the total compensation package at Abaka AI. This role is also eligible for equity and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and a flexible work schedule.
